Derek Hough is delighted that he'll soon be sharing a home with Cheryl Cole.
The Dancing With The Stars charmer enjoyed a New Year break with The X Factor judge and can't wait for Cheryl to join him at their £400,000 Hollywood love nest.
'Derek has been like a lovesick puppy since arriving back in LA,' says a source.
'He's been talking non-stop about their South African holiday and says she's "the one".
'He is convinced they are soulmates and said this holiday made him realise more than ever how well suited they are.
'He said they'd sit up for hours, chatting until 2 or 3am.
'They spoke a lot about the future and what they both want.'



Cheryl, 27, is expected to be on the judges' panel when The US X Factor begins filming in
May. And Mormon Derek, 25, will be there to support her every step of the way. 
'He said he feels happier than he ever has in his life, which is a big deal for Derek as he had a pretty tough time growing up,' the insider tells The Sun.
'He's spending the next few weeks putting the final touches to the Hollywood apartment.
'She's told him what she wants to put her stamp on it and he's obeying her orders.'

Shakira has announced her split from long-term partner Antonio de la Rua via her website.
‘During our almost 11 years together, we have loved each
other deeply, taken care of each other and stood by one another,' says the fiery Colombian singer in a joint statement online.
'They
have been the most wonderful years of our lives, and thanks to that
love and the respect we share for one another we have been an
exceptional couple and partners. Our friendship is unwavering and
indestructible.



The bum-waggling superstar and 37-year-old Antonio secretly broke up in August 2010, but chose to withhold the news until this week.
Shakira, 33, intends to continue to maintain a working relationship with lawyer Antonio.
'Throughout this time we have continued to work together hand in hand,
have remained close and have kept the details absolutely private until
now,' she says. 
'We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of
individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and
professional lives.'
